Character name: Arcueid Brunestud
Fandom: Tsukihime
Timeline: Bringing her near the beginning of Melty Blood canon after she has a short brawl with Sion.

But Arcueid was a refugee for a brief amount of time on the S.S. Thor before being wormholed, so she'll remember her time here too. She wasn't on board long enough to have made any relationships or significant changes in her personality.
Age: Around 800, looks about 17-18

~*Magical*~ abilities and strengths: OKAY LET'S DO THIS. Beware of Nasuphysics ahead.

In the Tsukihime universe, there two types of vampires and some sub-categories, but Arcueid is basically the most powerful kind, a True Ancestor. And since she's the last of her kind she is THE most powerful vampire. Let's just cut to the chase:

☪Vampire Strength - When one mentions vampire strength, this is encompassing her physical strength, speed, and endurance. There are few people who can match up to Arcueid when it comes to raw power and since she got her power back that means she has a LOT of raw power. Most of it is used to hold back her urge to feed, but it is a fatal mistake to take her lightly even then. Her most basic attacks draw upon this raw power where she uses her vampire claws to cause huge blasts of power to decimate and/or knock back an enemy. She's a tank when it comes to taking damage. Very few weapons can hurt her since if she does get hurt, her body immediately repairs itself to its original state. Arcueid is at her most powerful during the full moon making her almost invulnerable.

☪Mystic Eyes of Enchantment - When someone looks directly into Arcueid's eyes she is capable of high-level hypnosis being able to control someone's actions by planting a suggestion in their head. Good for making people walk away from her or when she wants to freeze someone in their spot.

☪Marble Phantasm - Arcueid's ultimate ability, it's a complicated power that can make anything that can naturally occur in nature happen-- or to be even MORE frank, if it's possible SHE CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN I DON'T KNOW I DON'T WRITE THIS STUFF. Basically it's like controlling reality to a very ridiculous extent. In her fight against Roa, Arcueid utilized this ability by controlling the atmosphere to chop him up into pieces without damaging the building she was in or herself. In another case, she can use the Marble Phantasm to manifest the Millennium Castle Brunestud, the place where she resides in when she's sleeping all chained up. Most commonly, her Marble Phantasm can appear as hundreds of chains that strike at an opponent. It's unavoidable at most and causes the most damage even when comparing it to her regular strength.

☪Weaknesses - Arcueid isn't one's normal idea of a vampire. She's fine walking around in sunlight although she has mentioned that daylight makes her sleepy. Crosses don't affect her and pretty much invites herself into a place when she wants to. Basically, all those hokey vampire weaknesses you were told about? Zilch. Well, it has been suggested that she isn't good at digesting garlic, but that's pretty minor. One major weakness is probably her blood lust, but even that liability makes her only even more dangerous were she to act upon it. But she holds back her vampiric impulse for the sake of herself which actually uses up some of her power so she never really is fighting at 100%. There are certain weapons that can hurt her ('conceptual' weapons like Black Keys used by members of the Church), and magic has some effect.

☪Etc. - Some other interesting things to note about Arcueid is her instinctive ability to adapt to her surroundings. Although she can be unaware of the social norms, she can take in information about the current time period she's in when she wakes up so she can integrate into society almost seamlessly (she was able to get her own apartment room after all and a nice one at that). So it's not as if she doesn't have any knowledge of some modern devices and whatnot. She can even cook for herself sometimes even if she doesn't need to eat or drink (eating regular food doesn't stave off her hunger for blood anyways).

Also she doesn't dream often in her sleep. If she does, it's supposed to be abnormal for her to do so.

How would they use their abilities?: IN THE NAME OF THE MOON SHE SHALL PUNISH-- Yeah, no. Arcueid may kill the guys we consider bad, but she's an amazingly neutral person. She's never killed a human, but that isn't to say she wouldn't be willing to hurt one if it meant that person was threatening her or a person she likes. But she really won't do anything bad otherwise, she'd find it too troublesome.

Job wise, if you want a tank in your party Arcueid is the way to go. She was made to destroy so you couldn't find a more efficient fighter. That's what she's best at after all. As for anything else, Arcueid can probably do other jobs as long as someone taught her the basics. She's a quick learner so she'll catch on.

Appearance: Arcueid keeps her sense of fashion simple as to not stand out-- A simple white turtleneck top, a dark skirt, stockings, and pumps. Her physical looks however are hard to dismiss. She's a very attractive young woman with a curvy, but slender body. Her hair is short and blond and perhaps the most noticeable feature are her bright red eyes, something most vampires in her world have.

Background/Personality: Arcueid is an artificially created vampire, made many moons ago by powerful vampires called True Ancestors. She was dubbed the White Princess or Princess of the True Ancestors as she was made to be the most powerful of them all and the successor of Crimson Moon (The ultimate being of the moon whom she is a copy of and where she gets her last name 'Brunestud'). Despite that title, her true purpose was to act as executioner of the fallen Ancestors, their kin the Dead Apostles, and any of their undead minions (basically vampires who have decided to take blood from humans causing a lot of destruction along their way). Since she was basically a tool for murder, Arcueid did her job swiftly and cleanly, hunting her own kind without so much as a hint of remorse or emotion and after every kill her memories were mostly wiped until she was sent after another vampire. Arcueid never thought for herself or had any selfish or unnecessary thoughts.

She never drank blood. Everyone believed she had no vampiric impulse, but then she met a man from the Catholic Church named Michael Roa Valdamjong (or for short, 'Roa'), a human trying to attain a certain type of immortality. He tricked the vampire princess into drinking his blood and therefore Arcueid became insane and slaughtered the rest of the True Ancestors and turned Roa into a vampire which obviously was a huge mistake. It didn't help that Roa also stole a portion of her power when she turned him into a vampire. Arcueid gained back enough sanity to chain herself to her throne, but from then on, it was her goal to completely destroy Roa. This would be a case of 'easier said than done' because Roa became a powerful enough vampire to reincarnate himself every time Arcueid awoke to hunt him down and kill him. So far, Roa has reincarnated seventeen times, but found himself another body to take over again-- This is where Arcueid's story truly starts.

Arcueid finds herself searching for Roa in modern-day Japan, in the city of Misaki. It was another normal day of her simply patrolling the city looking for Roa or anyone he might have turned into an undead schmuck. She was on her way back to her apartment when... She was murdered. Cut up into seventeen pieces to be exact, by a seemingly normal high school boy, Shiki Tohno who for some reason stalked her all the way back to her place without her sensing him at all. Thankfully, she had enough strength to put all seventeen parts of herself back together overnight, but as a result? Arcueid became extremely angry. You would be too if you were murdered for no particular reason. So she had it in mind to find the human who killed her and return the favor.

So she waited. But this is the point where Arcueid develops an odd train of thought showcasing her curiosity and whimsical nature which is extremely odd for a vampire of her stature. As she waited for her murderer to appear, she couldn't help but wonder what the human boy who killed her was like. It was a simple thought that crossed her mind, but then again this was one of the few if the very first human that caught her interest.

In the end Arcueid did meet up with Shiki Tohno and managed to clear up the misunderstandings. He simply was overcome with insanity when he killed her and Arcueid kindly acts as an exposition figure and sheds some light on his supernatural power that managed to damage her. Arcueid, determined to make him pay for his crime makes him stick around to help her battle another vampire, Nvsqr Chaos since she was severely weakened from being cut up. After that major battle is over, she and Shiki get to know each other more and both find out they are not what each of them were expecting the other to be. Arcueid expected Shiki to be a skilled murderer and he in turn thought Arcueid was a bloodthirsty vampire (a false yet true assumption in its own way).

Through the eyes of Shiki, we find out that Arcueid is a strange case even in the context of her being a vampire since she really does not showcase any signs that a person would think about with their idea of a vampire. She doesn't take Shiki's or any other human's blood because she says she's 'afraid' of it and she hunts down other vampires because apparently she has 'nothing better to do' (her main objective was to kill Roa though). As Arcueid talks more with Shiki, it reveals how self aware she became of her own wants and desires. Well, perhaps not quite aware, but she does begin to act more on her impulsive feelings. And Shiki finds that Arcueid... Can be sort of an idiot. (Crouching Moron Hidden Badass anyone?) She isn't exactly delicate on what is considered social norms, an example of this being when she visits Shiki at school in the middle of class. Scandalous.

Regardless, Arcueid continues to patrol the city with Shiki in search of the vampire Roa. The more time she spends with him, the more she develops a fondness towards the human boy that killed her, treasuring the seemingly pointless, but valuable moments with him that eased the loneliness she didn't even know she had. There was a problem, however, concerning her thirst for blood. True, she refused blood for 800 or plus so years, but in her weakened state Arcueid began giving into her urges to drink blood and almost ends up drinking Shiki's, but was immediately stopped by an agent of the Church, Ciel. Ciel provides Shiki the nature of Arcueid's origins-- a tool of murder and to the lowest denomination, a horrendously powerful monster. She may be killing other vampires which is beneficial for humankind, but it really isn't for their sake. And in her current state, there was no telling if Arcueid might turn on Shiki and become a 'true' vampire.

Shiki refused to leave Arcueid alone in her fight against Roa, confessing how much he cared for her and wanted her to experience happiness instead of allowing herself to be a lonely person. Arcueid gave up in trying to deny that she wanted to be with Shiki and in short returned his feelings as well. Still, she left him so he wouldn't get hurt because of her and to fight Roa alone. She almost succeeded in killing him, but Roa managed to overcome her in the end and Arcueid ended up dying in Shiki's arms. Thankfully, Shiki took matters into his own hands and avenged Arcueid by taking down Roa himself. Arcueid was revived with her stolen power returned to her. Now she had a choice to return to an eternal sleep or to continue to stay awake and spend time with her closest human companion.

Well, she chose to continue staying in Japan so she can be near Shiki and actually have something of a life to experience happiness. Arcueid also chooses to stay in Misaki since there are leftover vampires to get rid of and from the point where she is taken, a new vampire has emerged causing a string of murders which she is inevitably going to get involved in. She provides more exposition to Shiki and his new partner in crime a new acquaintance, Sion Eltnam Atlasia, an alchemist hunting down said vampire menace.

Overall, Arcueid Brunestud is your non-typical vampire who doesn't drink blood or hate humans, but isn't really an ally of humanity either. No human or vampire wants to get on her bad side. As a hunter, she has a very harsh outlook on how to deal with an opponent. You either go in to kill or you get killed. All other times? Arcueid is actually a very nice person with an honest attitude. She does things at her own pace, but with good humor and a whimsical, childlike behavior towards most everything and everyone. She can still be rather awkward when interacting with people although she usually isn't insecure about her off-kilter social graces. It is mostly towards Shiki whom she is sweet and has a good nature towards, but even then she can still be easily irritated much like a child sometimes getting into silly little spats with him and others around her, but otherwise simply enjoys living to the fullest thanks to being with Shiki whom she cares about the most. When it comes to intimate moments, she can be hesitant to act and respond, but she does like affection more than she realizes. Arcueid is simply content with the fact that she isn't and doesn't have to be lonely anymore.

Have you read up on how the game works?: The plugin is called Flaming Ferrit and you earn money by signing up for missions issued from other people or 'ship' missions, or being a moocher/douche.

1st person sample:

[A feed is coming through and the figure of a young looking woman sitting down and looking over her guide with outstretched hands and a towel hung over her right arm.]

"Don't Panic." Hm. For a situation that seems as troublesome as this, these are surprisingly wise words. I won't get into hysterics anytime soon, but really I'm a bit annoyed I was taken away so suddenly. The warning signs were vague at the very most.

[She sets her things aside and stands up with her arms crossed.]

Still, I'm not sure if I'll be able to get used to all this technology. Sure, I'll have to catch on soon, but machines and human inventions aren’t really my forte so to speak. Well, that’s what comes with adjusting to a new environment I suppose. But of all things to think about, I really have to wonder… What makes them think it’s a good idea to have a vampire on board? People are going to have to take responsibility if any… Ah, repercussions occur wouldn’t they? Hm, then again it’s not as if I plan on making trouble. There are a lot of things for me to see and I guess it’ll be worth my while to check them out.

Besides! It seems sort of funny if you think about it. A vampire in space! Imagine that. ♥

3rd person sample:
When Arcueid closed her eyes, all she expected to see were the darkness of her eyelids. When she opened them, she expected to wake up her bed back in her apartment, with Shiki there to greet her so she wouldn't oversleep. But now when she opened her eyes, she woke up in a new bed, in a different room, and in a completely new place.

And that place was a space station of all things.

Was the vampire feeling disconcerted? She would be lying to herself if she said she wasn't. But she didn't show it. She simply woke up, got out of bed, and went to explore the rest of the S.S. Thor. It all would seem very natural to her, as if this was no different from her other missions.

Walk forward. Search. Destroy. Sleep.

Instead, Arcueid found herself idly glancing over various jobs that needed an extra helper sans any work that needed her more 'forceful' services.

"Peeling potatoes... Baby-sitting? Those aren't missions, they sound more like chores," mused the vampire. What surprised her more however, was the fact that she was actually considering doing such menial tasks. Arcueid didn't find herself above those missions; they were simply something she had never done before. It eventually dawned upon her that she would be working with other people, people who weren't like her, but were in the same situation in this ship, people who weren't Shiki. Human, non-human, alien, it didn't seem to matter.

In all honesty? Arcueid was getting excited without realizing it. And for once, she didn't think about the fear of being a danger to anyone due to her 'thirst.'

"Hee, hee...! Well, if Shiki ends up here too, I'll have to drag him along to one of these missions! It all looks so fun!"

With a wonderfully sunny smile on her face, Arcueid set off to explore the rest of the ship, eventually getting herself lost in the crowd of various creatures with only her white clothes, golden hair, and red eyes to distinguish her from the rest. New world, new people, and the newly arrived vampire princess.

She hoped there would be something new to see when she closed her eyes once again.

Questions?: Nope!

Did you put your characters name and fandom in the subject: I WON'T FORGET TO DO THIS SERIOUSLY.
